The Brotherhood of Al Raid FAQ

We are putting together a strategy for raiding, and growing our guild is a large part of that. Over the next few weeks we will expand this section with a more concrete concept of how we will be raiding. In the meantime here are some quick ideas of what we have in mind:

• While we are working on building our player reserves we will be focusing on running newer players through the regular Northrend instances (And perhaps some old world and TBC content for the fun of it) and getting geared up.

• At the current time we are running Need/Greed as a looting system. It’s quick, simple, and the smaller number of players at the moment allows it to work well.

• In the future we will be moving over to an EPGP system. It is a fair system overall, has perks for veteran raiders, and yet newer players equalize with the vets over time. (i.e. New raiders will not be permanently overshadowed by characters that have been raiding longer) Most importantly it is also the easiest to administrate.

• We will enforce gearing levels for heroic and above instances. We will most likely use the Character Assessment tools that can be found in the Tools and Mods section of our site. (Until we find another tool that does a better job)
